Munduk Waterfall, An Awesome Waterfall in Bali

Bali Waterfalls!

Have you visited the waterfalls when on holiday to Bali? Or maybe you do not know if there is waterfalls in Bali? Indeed, there are many tourists who knows if there are waterfalls in Bali. At most tourists only know Gitgit Waterfall is located not so far from the tourist area of Bedugul. Not many people know the existence of other waterfalls. Though Bali has many beautiful waterfalls scattered in various corners of the island. If we counted the numbers there are Dozens. Most of the waterfalls are located in the region of North Bali (Buleleng). With a hilly region and many mountains, making Buleleng has many waterfalls. However, waterfalls in Bali not only in Buleleng. There IS ALSO waterfalls in the other districts. Here are eight of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali are worth your visit when on holiday to Bali. The seventh waterfalls lying scattered in various corners of Bali. Do not forget, prepare stamina when will visit various waterfalls following, Because You will pass fairly challenging terrain and had to go up and down stairs.

 5. Munduk Waterfall & 6. Melinting Waterfall

Munduk Waterfall is located in the village of Munduk, Banjar District, Buleleng. The distance is about 70 km from Denpasar or 20 miles from Bedugul Tourism Region. Munduk village is situated at an altitude of 800-900 m above sea level so the air is very cool and very suitable for crop farming areas, especially coffee and cloves.



There are two waterfalls on the Munduk Waterfall, namely Munduk Waterfall and Melanting Waterfall. However, people used to call both Munduk Waterfalls. Natural Munduk Waterfall, first you will encounter when you come from the direction of Denpasar / Bedugul. This waterfall is located about 1 km from the Restaurants of Ngiring Ngawedang. Waterfall about 15-meter is located between coffee plantation residents. From the parking area, you have to walk as far as 246 meters to reach this waterfall. Do not forget to pay the entrance fee Rp 3.000.00 near the parking area. Furthermore, you just walk down a path in between coffee plantation residents to arrive in front of the waterfall. In addition to this waterfall there is a simple restaurant, when you are thirsty or hungry. Splashing water and chirping birds are widely available around the waterfall creates a calm and peaceful atmosphere, making us feel at home playing in the water this Munduk Waterfall.


Second waterfall, that Niagara Melanting higher than Munduk Waterfall. It is located about 1 km from the first waterfall (Munduk Waterfall). From Munduk Waterfall continue on your drive to the north (Seririt) about 1 km until you arrive at a bend with a signpost to a waterfall on right side of the road. You park the vehicle in the parking area to the left of the road. Then you only walk 500 meters to get in front of the waterfall. When you bring a motorcycle, you can still bring your motorcycle to near the waterfall. You can park your bike in the near ports of entry. You have to pay the entrance fee of Rp 5,000.00 (adult) and Rp 2000.00 (kids) at ports of entry near the waterfall.


Getting There
From Denpasar, point your vehicle to Bedugul / Singaraja. After passing through the Area Tourism Bedugul, continue your journey towards Git-git / Singaraja up in a T-junction with a sharp bend to the left (Munduk / Seririt). Turn left, and follow the road up past Restaurants Ngiring Ngawedang in the village of Munduk. Munduk Waterfall is located about 1 km from the restaurant. While Melanting Niagara located about 1 km from Munduk Waterfall or 2 miles from Restaurants Ngiring Ngawedang.
