Tegenungan Waterfall, An Awesome Waterfall in Bali

Have you visited the waterfalls when on holiday to Bali? Or maybe you do not know if there is waterfalls in Bali? Indeed, there are many tourists who knows if there are waterfalls in Bali. At most tourists only know Gitgit Waterfall is located not so far from the tourist area of Bedugul. Not many people know the existence of other waterfalls. Though Bali has many beautiful waterfalls scattered in various corners of the island. If we counted the numbers there are dozens. Most of waterfalls are located in the region of North Bali (Buleleng). With a hilly region and many mountains, making Buleleng has many waterfalls. However, waterfalls in Bali not only in Buleleng. There is also waterfalls in the other districts. Here are eight of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali are worth your visit when on holiday to Bali. The seventh waterfalls lying scattered in various corners of Bali. 1. Tegenungan Waterfall


This is waterfall that is located closest to the city of Denpasar and the only waterfall that is located not in the highlands or mountains. Tegenungan Waterfall in the village Kemenuh, District of Sukawati, Gianyar. The distance is only about 16 km from Denpasar or 30 minutes drive. Waterfall in river Tukad Petanu is quite unique. Although not so high (the height is only about four feet), the water flow is very heavy. The water is also clean and clear. It is suitable for bathing or just playing around water.

The natural landscape around Tegenungan Waterfall is quite beautiful, with green trees and beautiful. Near waterfall has built a bathhouse with a few showers from natural springs. Residents often bathe and take water for daily consumption in these baths, especially in the morning and afternoon. If you want, you can also bathe there.

To achieve Tegenungan Waterfall , from the parking area, you have to descend hundreds of steps and along the banks of the Tukad Petanu River. For photography lovers, we recommend you come to Tegenungan Waterfall in the afternoon or evening, so that you can get good pictures. Because of this waterfall facing west. If you come in the morning, you will find it hard to get a good photo because the light that enters the camera you will lose the scorching rays of the morning sun so that your photos will be over exposed. Getting There
From Denpasar navigate your vehicle towards Sukawati / Gianyar. After passing Sukawati Art Market, continue your journey to arrive at an intersection with a traffic light and there are a direction to Tegenungan. From the intersection, you turn right as far as 1500 meters, and you arrived at Tegenungan Waterfall ...
